Prayer request

My blogging day ends with a request for prayers for both of my sons — for elder son’s intention regarding finding employment and for Buster, who (unbelievably!) has pneumonia again! I just talked to him and he sounds terrible. He’s away at school, which makes it all very difficult. If you could whisper up a prayer for them, I would be so very grateful.

Of course! Consider them prayed for!

    Praying for your sweet boys.

  • Diane

You got it. So hard when they’re away and get sick! Believing for employment soon as well

  • J

Done, for both Buster and you.

  • Maureen

Praying. It’s been a rough year for pneumonia. Hope your one son’s not a quart low on vitamins (especially Vitamins A, C, and D), because they tend to get used up by respiratory illnesses, and then the lack of them makes the body more vulnerable to respiratory illnesses!

It is a privilege to pray for your sons, for you and always to pray with you.

  • Manny

Prayer sent. But is Buster on top of it? Does he have a good doctor? Sounds like motherly intervention might be required. Pneumonia is nothing to kid around with.

  • Victor

It’s been a long blogging day for you Anchoress and I’m sure that God has already taken all our prayers under consideration.

    God Bless

May the Lord hear our prayers for your sons.

Thank you all very much for your prayers – your generosity of spirit means so much, and my gratitude is heartfelt.

I must close these threads, unfortunately, because apparently they are tempting some to wound charity in astonishing ways. I think for the weekend comments will be completely closed, and they may remain closed throughout Holy Week and possibly even beyond.

And you few who using my son’s illness to say horrible things, no, I will not let your comments stand, but I feel sorry for you. God help you.

I love your blog. As a single father who has raised three daughters alone, I only wish I had come across it years ago. God bless, and I have remembered your sons in my prayers.
