... an embittered battle ensues, all for the sake of ceremony. I have been trying for some time, quite unsuccessfully I might add, to register my son for CCD classes in preparation for his first Holy Communion. My kvetch are the times the classes are scheduled. They start at 4:30pm with only one evening class at 6:30pm that happens to fall on a night I have one my classes. before a storm…

... I love the swirling energy the air seems to be charged with moments before a storm; the distant rumbling of far off thunder, the quickening breeze and the dramatically darkening sky. Most especially, though, the way the leaves on a tree turn over to reveal their porous side in preparation of receiving a drink. The contrast of vibrant green leaves against the tumultuous grey sky are hues that represent, in my mind, a change on the wind. ... seems I lost a friend. They were offended by some things I said on facebook letting my conservative colors fly. Despite the fact we've know each other since childhood and have so many things in common it would appear this one difference is irreconcilable. I am no longer worthy of their friendship. The general understanding; however, says otherwise... it's met with a wink wink and a nudge nudge. "the best interest of the patient"... the problem is that some medical professionals feel they know what is better for the patient then the patient or their family.
