This test purports to tell you which presidential candidate (in either party) you match up with best.

To me, what it made obvious is how much we are voting not just for a platform, but for a person. The way the test is done, it forces you to split hairs, looking for nuances of difference among almost identical turns of phrase in candidates’ boilerplate. As questionable as many aspects of our presidential selection process are, it’s probably for the best that we don’t have to choose that way.

As for my results… hmm. I may have done it wrong because I got all people who’ve dropped out – Berlusconi, Kim Jong Il, & whoever’s been running Greece.
