Do You Have a Google Account?

Of course you do. So I’m asking you to help a brotha out. Since I’ve had a few different blogs over the years, this new URL suffers in search results. So, if you would be so kind,

1. Log in to your google account

2. Go to google.com

3. Search for ‘tony jones blog’

4. Scroll down till you see www.patheos.com/blogs/tonyjones

5. Click the little arrow that promotes that result to the top of your page

6. Optional: leave a public comment about how great my blog is

Thanks!!!

(I’ve got a dozen Google Wave invitations for those who follow these steps and leave a comment here.)

  • Dan

    I did it too!

  • http://astatum.net Andrew

Done! And this IS an awesome blog!

BTW, nobody bought me a copy of the Teaching of the Twelve (haha). I really don’t mind waiting ’till the Christmas season is over but I was just getting impatient.

  • Daniel

    Did it!

  • http://www.kilnfolk.org Ian Eastman

Of course, that little arrow is an add-on not a basic feature of Google, so lots of us don’t have it.

Great idea to promote in this way. I didn’t even know about it. I did this for ya, keep up the great work. Do you still have any Google Wave invites left. If not, no big deal.

  • http://www.woodridgeumc.org Rev Dave

Done! And I too learned about those buttons. Never noticed them before…but then I usually use Good Search rather than google. (who knows, maybe they are there too. I’m apparently pretty unobservant)

Tony, may this Advent season be one of encouragement and peace for you. I give thanks for your writing which challenges and inspires.
The new book must be selling well: my Amazon pre-order is delayed. Glad it is being well received! I look forward to reading it.

  • Chris M.

Done! I think I’m too late for a Google Wave invite, but I’ll take one if there are any left.

  • Sarah

Done. Loving the excerpts from the book and will enjoy reading it. Advent blessings to you and your family – and I do enjoy the blog.

  • Simon

    Done, Tony.

    Would love an invite!

  • tom

Done. Looks like I may be too late for the google wave invite. That’s cool though…

I’ve enjoyed your blogging and podcasting during recent years and I’m looking forward to the Didache/Teaching of the Twelve. I intend to write you a substantial note at some point, but for now I want to mention that you have at least one sympathetic analytic philosopher in your audience. (One wonders if there are others…)

Best wishes and keep on bloggin’.

  • http://www.blackcoffeereflections.com Tim

Well I would have preferred fewer and easier steps, like getting re-saved at a crusade or something but I’m happy to help ;-)

  • http://www.comingtolife.blogspot.com Mike Stavlund
