Win a Didache DVD!

The Faith and Practice of the Earliest Christians: a DVD Study on the Didache with Tony Jones is the video companion to my book, The Teaching of the Twelve: Believing and Practicing the Primitive Christianity of the Ancient Didache Community.  It’s composed of six sessions and particularly aimed at small group and adult Sunday school use.

I’m running a little contest today, giving out one copy each here, on Twitter, and on Facebook.

The trivia question for the blog is this: What is my favorite verse in the Didache?

The complete text of the Didache can be found HERE.  Post your answers in the comment section.  All correct answers posted by 9am CST tomorrow will be entered in a drawing to win a copy of the DVD (a $50 value!).

9:4 Even as this broken bread was scattered over the hills, and was gathered together and became one, so let your church be gathered together from the ends of the earth into your kingdom. To you is the glory and the power through Jesus Christ forever.

Andy, you’re the closest. That’s my second favorite verse. My favorite is this:

Watch over your life, that your lamps are never quenched, and that your loins are never unloosed. Be ready, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.

Send me your mailing addy by email and I’ll ship out a DVD to you!
