    What you don’t see are the parts which are edited out so as not to hypnotise the TV audience. Derren is a world renowned master of illusion, acknowledged among his peers as the best there is at physiological manipulation.

    He never uses stooges and he’s always honest about what he is actually doing. His books and TV shows are a must for anyone who thinks this sort of thing is “real” – as well as being very entertaining.

    This is one of my favourite stunts from is earlier TV work…

    Does this make anyone else think of the South Park episode where all the kids ignore Cartman, and he thinks he is dead?
