Wow. The translations were very close, and it probably helped that the reporter seemed to be fluent in Russian. Their Jesus is a total tool though, and was condescending in his response to the interviewer’s question. That part doesn’t come through very well unless you speak Russian.

The pop-up captions are ironic. Had we all lived in 30 AD, we would be reacting the exact same way to this Jesus person. False prophet, claims to be the incarnation of the messiah, used to be a carpenter from Nazareth, attracting cult-like devotion from people all over. The more devout Jews would be quoting Scripture warning us to watch out for false messiahs.

  3. Wow. Just, wow.

People like this scare me, and it upsets me that my fellow humans are seeking out something like this to follow without question.

If there were any chance that I would be considering believing in a religion instead of being athiest, seeing things like this would quickly bring me back to reality.

  4. I wonder what would happen when their fake Jesus dies one day… or gets lyme disease?

  5. Rik says:

Yes. Great “answers” from The Man Upstairs. Vague, insubstantial, patronising waffle. Sounds like religion to me.

  6. Jim Gardner says:

The next time someone trots out that one about leaving people alone who leave you alone, I’m going to play them this clip and watch them shut the fuck up.

  7. Doubting Foo says:

I want to see a cage match between this guy and Wayne Bent. Lets see which messiah wins!

If you don’t know who Wayne Bent is see this:

oh my god, hw could this man decieve these innocent people.
he is truly false prophet calling himself jesus not only decieved himself by satan, but also his followers.god have mercy on him.it seems end of the days word of god goin to be fullfill.
m waiting for second coming of jesus in the clouds.

  9. Angus says:

Christianity derived from a mushroom cult. It’s appropriate that this douchebag’s cult is based in a birch forest, since the birch tree is host to the divine Amanita muscaria mushroom. See Clark Heinrich’s book, “Magic Mushrooms in Religion and Alchemy.” Would anyone believe this ass-clown was Jesus unless he “looked the part”? I hope not. And yeah, the pop-up comments are idiotic.
