From a Denver McCain rally:
Why do these people get so stupid when they get into groups? (Or are they this dumb on their own, too?)
Transcription:
Young girl: “Ooo Ooo — A monkey president!”
“[You're] a real American? Are you kidding me?”
“President Hussein? That’s cool. You make me sick.”
“He’s a Muslim… Obama’s wife made him say he’s a Christian so he can run for President.”
“Communist!”
“You need to read the Communist Manifesto, because that’s what you’re all about.”
“God may not be on side, but Satan is on your side.”
“Socialist!”
“Communist, communist, communist, communist, communist…”
Maybe there needs to be some kind of test for people to vote. Like: “If you think Obama is a Muslim or a terrorist, check this box” and then those ballots can be thrown out.

The “bad words” of rightwads drive me from zero to crazy in seconds.
Why would Obama’s alleged Muslimity be any worse than say, Huckabee’s Christianism?
And as to being “socialist”–by the standards of the people we’re seeing here most of the seriously successful nations of the world would be irretrevably “socialist”.
The US loses up to seven percent of its GDP every year because it doesn’t have universal health care. That costs every single American citizen money. In taxes, on their health plans, and in myriad other ways.
Yet universal coverage, the method practiced in all other civilized nations, is “socialist” (it’s not even–Canada’s doctors are mostly in private practice).
So the US is in a trap wherin increasing the health of the general population, contributing to the general welfare, and increasing the economic power of the country is bad–because of one little word.
Or maybe it’s just that the Reptards secretly long for some good ol’ facism?
I’m also sick of concern trolls saying you could find people like this on the other side. I don’t think you’d find one single person who’d say that McCain fathered an illigitimate black baby–The smear Karl Rove used to torpedo him in ’00.
The few people who support the Republican Party are becoming increasingly marginal, increasingly unimportant, and increasingly irrelevant as the election looms. And thank the FSM for that, because this is really what they’re about: Fear and loathing.
As Colin Powell said “What would it matter if He (Obama) were a Muslim? Apparently some folks still don’t get the idea that America is an idea not a place.
I would add however, that any mixing of religion and politics/government, has historically turned out badly
How disgusting. Looks like some of them are teaching their children how to hate, too. I wanted to throw up when that little girl started calling him a monkey.
Obama will be the one laughing last, though. Those morons better get used to him and start showing some damned respect. Come January, he’ll be our President.
Don’t forget, these are the ‘real’ Americans.
Apparently, being ‘elitest’ means not being a racist piece of shite.
For the record I support neither McCain nor Obama nor the current administration.
So, you’re saying that some opinions are more equal than others? It seems like having a test for voting would be subjective because it would depend upon the opinion of the person writing the test.
Look, no one with any integrity or respect likes all the wackjob ignoramuses out there. But this is a free country. You can mock these people, but you can’t take away their rights just because they hold opinions that you disapprove of.
Your concern has been noted.
Being a Brit what I find most amusing is firstly how “socialist” seems to be some sort of insult which equates to pinko commie (health care system free at point of use – now that’s a novelty!) and also how Obama would really struggle to be termed a socialist here in Europe is much the same way that Tony Blair was a socialist honest guv.
In Australia when i hear americans on the news saying “he’s a terrorist” (Obama), and “we’re a christian nation!” I flip out. I have to remind myself not all Americans are this stupid!
I will repeat; Thomas Jefferson said, ” Without education democracy becomes tyranny”.
Draw your conclusion.
This is one of the debates going on in our Country right now.
Do we want a Country where there is a widening gap between haves an have-nots, where people die in the streets and are scraped up by a street cleaner, because of lack of health care, where there are no jobs and opportunity and, even if there were good jobs no one that could perform them because they can’t make change at the kwik-e mart?
With all the money (billions with a B ) being spent on killing people and making thier lives miserable we could spend some on making the lives of our citizens better, happier, progressing.
There is enough wealth floating around right now to feed and educate every person on the planet, just not the political will or the ability of our leaders because of corruption, greed ,blinded mindsets, and ignorance, to do so .
That is why some call this a prison planet.
