Father Jeremy Davies, Demon Specialist

by Lorette C. Luzajic

Part 5 of the Pillars of Faith series.

According to Father Jeremy Davies, those of us converting to reason are “rational Satanists.” The Devil has blinded us to the evils of birth control and the “vivisection of human embryos.” Atheist or not, anyone who has had an abortion is pretty much doomed to demon possession forever and ever. Abortion demons are particularly hard to get rid of.

Davies is not just any old priest — he’s an Oxford graduate and doctor who spent much of his life in medical missions, in that demon-haunted world of heathen Africa. Born in 1935, he became a priest when he was nearly 40 and went on to specialize in … well, exorcism.

Now at 74, he’s still going strong, working with the Pope’s top demon tosser in the International Association of Exorcists. It is estimated that Davies has exorcised thousands of diabolical spirits, experience that has come in handy since 2005, when the Pope initiated a special skill upgrade course for priests in ridding the riddled of their evil possessors.

Contagious Demons

Pullquote: As a celibate senior, Davies has unique insight into human sexuality, and he proclaims demons are contagious, passed along kind of like AIDS from one promiscuous lover to another.

As a celibate senior, Davies has unique insight into human sexuality, and he proclaims demons are contagious, passed along kind of like AIDS from one promiscuous lover to another. The homo explosion is easily understood once you know that “among the causes of homosexuality is a contagious demonic factor.”

But if you’re the one man one woman type don’t rest on your laurels — or your yoga mat. Another reason for the hellion rebellion is any kind of trendy exercise, massage therapy, acupuncture, or meditation practice from “eastern” geographies. As soon as we close our eyes and stretch our legs and empty our mind of the day’s stresses, we have left a vacant space for the serpent and his angels. And though we already know from the movies that ouija boards and witchcraft are “direct invitations” that “the devil readily accepts,” relaxation techniques and soft drugs are “the thin edge of the wedge.” And that edge is more terrifying because we don’t see that the door is unlocked or ajar. The evil spirits then enter as “unobtrusively as possible.”

Giving the Devil the Boot

I’m not sure what’s most terrifying here — the fact that this superstitious, sexually repressed old bat represents the modern church, or the fact that before Davies devoted his life to ghost busting in the name of the Holy Ghost, he was a medical doctor and an educated man.

This man is throwing the devil out. It’s time the whole world followed suit and kicked Satan to the curb.

These are the kinds of views about demons I grew up with, and every time I see them laid out like this, my brain just…shudders. If it can do that.

    • blotonthelandscape says:

ditto. My first response to this was “And?” I grew up in South Africa, where it’s very easy to be superstitious, and this pretty much represents what I was brought up to believe about demons. Scary ain’t it? People can actually believe and live like this. It’s one of the few area’s where catholicism and charismatics (and probably pentecostal types) agree.

      • Baconsbud says:

It seems it is a pretty common view of those within a heavily religious area. I know people that see demons in everything and others but themselves. My ex-wife would see demons in shadows caused by the sun going behind clouds. I can kind of understand why some believe like this. It is a lot easier to blame a demon for actions they are ashamed of.

  2. Alphonsus says:

Alas, it seems to me that this person is, to put it in medical terms, batshit crazy.

  3. Reginald Selkirk says:

Topical. I am currently reading The Malleus Malefaricum, a 15th century guide to hunting and prosecuting witches by Heinrich Kramer and James Sprenger. So far I’ve read the introductions of 1928 and 1948 by Montague Summers. It is scary that someone doing a translation of the work in the early 20th century still believed in witchcraft, believed that it was a huge conspiracy and was controlled by Satan, and was willing to defend the Inquisition.

  4. LRA says:

People who “exorcise” demons are not only batshit crazy (to quote Alphonsus), but they target widowed women, unmarried women, and children at higher frequencies. The Inquisition in Europe and the Witch Trials in America were the among worst hate-crimes against women ever (up there with using rape as a war tactic). So as far as I’m concerned, Father Davies, in continuing this dangerous practice, can go straight to hell.

  5. trj says:

The alleged demons causing AIDS appear to be controllable using modern medicine. Apparently their otherworldly demonic powers are affected by simple chemicals. Not very impressive.

    • Joe B says:

I don’t know if he’s said it elsewhere, but here it says the crazy exorcist thinks demons can be passed “like AIDS”, as in, in a similar fashion to AIDS. Not using AIDS as an example of a demon caused disease.

  6. Mike Caton says:

Oddly enough, the Malaysian National Fatwa Council also has problems with yoga. I really think the big Christian churches and the state-sponsored Islamic groups should just merge and get it over with.

    • Reginald Selkirk says:

The stuff most Westerners are exposed to is watered-down physical exercise only, but that does not reflect yoga’s role in India, where it is tied up with religion, particularly Hinduism. See Wikipedia for more.

  7. Jim Etchison says:

New pickup line: “Hey baby … I’ve got a Demon whose just dying to possess you.”

  8. Lorette says:

Yes, yoga does have a history in meditation and religion, much older than the Bible and Roman Catholic exorcism practices. Yes, most western yoga focuses on stress relief and exercise. Neither is about evil spirits. In deed, yoga may be the one religion that has some scientific proof for its efficacy and truth. All that mind over matter, deep relaxation, and stretching various parts actually does relax the body, stimulate certain glands into action, and so on. It’s very healing, even if the ancient intricate rituals gets to be a bit much for modern practitioners. Even a bit goes a long way. I believe it is this power that terrifies this priest. But power is not always evil. Why are good powerful things like yoga and love ‘evil’ when evil power things like war and racism and wife beating ‘scriptural’?

    • rodneyAnonymous says:

Same reason He-Man is evil. Power that is not drawn from God is evil, morality is drawn from God’s law and not joy/suffering, etc.

    • Nelly says:

      yes indeedy!

Also, eastern medical practices have been around probably longer than the bible. I’ve completely embraced massage therapy and accupuncture, and have never felt better. But it is all a moot point for “real” healing if you aren’t “praying” for it, right? *dripping sarcasm*

  9. Siberia says:

He seems to know a lot about demons. I bet he’s possessed and spreading misinformation!

  10. DarkMatter says:

I am more worried about christian demons.

  11. To whom it may concern;
I was the person that introduced father Jeremy Davies to Catholicism in 1958, I am orig. from Spain and met him in London when I was studing English, please let him know that I am alive and would like to hear from him very much.
    Thank you yours…..Gloria

  12. I would like to get in touch with father Davies, as I am the first person that introduced to him to Caholicism in 1958. I am orig. from Spain, Please help me and let him know I am alive…
    Thank you. Gloria

  13. Jimmy Jones says:

I’ve never read such a biased article, taking quotes out of context. I also am dismayed at all those leaving such childish comments.

The one by ‘LRA’ was particularly offensive and childish !
quote: “…People who “exorcise” demons are not only batshit crazy (to quote Alphonsus), but they target widowed women, unmarried women, and children at higher frequencies. The Inquisition in Europe and the Witch Trials in America were the among worst hate-crimes against women ever (up there with using rape as a war tactic). So as far as I’m concerned, Father Davies, in continuing this dangerous practice, can go straight to hell….”

It is clear LRA lest anyone on here knows wht they are on about, and yes a priest who was formerly a medical doctor who studied at Oxford, should know abit more than most of you guys with his 30+ years helping people out in this field.
If people have a problem with believing in these things, it deosn’t mean they don’t exist. Who are people to say demons don’t exist when this clearly educated man has been doing thousands of exorcisms for so many years, as have many others across the world. The reason people go to him is because they are at the end of their teather, and I would remind people that real demonic possessions do occur and paranormal displays which are very frightening are evidenced.
The kinds of people who go to exorcists such as this are not ‘targetted women’.
It is actually very hard to track down the services of an exorcist and so it is those who have a very serious problem who tend to track them down and ask for help.
I know former witches and occultists, yoga/reiki practitioners who have had demonic problems, and have sought help from this particular priest, and whose lives were once in ruin and have since been rid of their spiritual afflictions and rebuilt their lives. They say this man saved their lives and is a saint. He is. I also had a severe problem in my life which robbed me of 15 long devastating years. I saw this man and after a week my problem literally vanished. I was gay and had schizophrenia, and I didn’t mention i was gay, but I did believe my schizophrenia was demonic, though doctors claimed it was a mental illnesses. After my exorcism my problem did not go suddenly, but got worse for a week, so i resigned myself to thinking my intrusive thoughts and voices must have been psychological all along, and now gotten worse….but after that week, they simply vanished. I found out later that the demon will give all he has got in a last stand againts a person, once they have been exorcised and they have no right to possess or afflict someone. And yes, a few weeks after I started to realise my gay tendencies had left and I fancied women again !!!!
This man has saved many lives, and it is occultists, witches, etc and people afflicted with terrible things who seek him out, not the othe way around. Some people I sent to him actually did not recieve exorcism because they didn’t have such problems, even if they believed they had. Some who were on medication for mental illness, he also didn’t exorcise or believe were possessed. He knows who needs it…as any exorcist does.
Remember Yoga is not simply exercise but based in magical eastern traditions, and breathing and certain exercises are there to open the psychic side and open up oneself like a channel to the spirit world to enter. Reiki too, and this is why he condemns it. It may seem watered down in the west but at the heart of it, such exercises are used by sorcerors and witches to channel demons and spirits and so is forbidden. The busines sof a demon spreading from person to person, is not as simple as that. But the sexual act is one used in marraieg to create life and in certain black magick ceremonies, the sexual act is used as a life giving force to harness in order to work magick, and it’s perversion through perverse sexual acts in a occult ceremony also are there to appease the controlling demons in exchange for their bidding. When one performs sex with someone who is demon possessed, it can lead to spiritual problems and can lead to one being infested with this, though not always the case if a person is protected spiritually, which today in modern times is not always the case. As for abortion spirits, many women I have met who have had abortions, have gone abit mentally ill, or have problems. One girl i know and her friend who both had admitted to having abortions, have ruined their lives. One had sadly become anorexic and the other abit loopy and cannot find peace. I do know people who have repented of this sin of killing the unborn, because they didn’t realise what they were doing, thinking it was ‘okay’ because society said so. They did let it go, and then did have prayers to exorcise them of any demonic affliction causing their depression (which doctors never managed to cure) and their lives and emotionas and character returned to normal again.

You all can believe what you wish, but half arsed ignorant biased comments from people without any faith, experience or knowledge or intelligence, who don’t know what they are saying about this man and exorcism, should first research the subject fully, actually read about the many documented cases of exorcism, and not judge and claim things about anyone without being fully sure, or you make a grave grave error in judgement. This man has saved more lives than i can count, and how many lives have you people saved ?

    Good day.

    • coffeejedi says:

      TL;DR

Provide compelling evidence that “demons” are real things first, then we’ll talk.

      Hint: you can’t.

    • Francesc says:

Hint: you still have mental illnesses and not, being gay is not one of them.

First, argument from authority doesn’t work for rational people. We are not believing his claims because he was a medical doctor: there are medical doctors trying to sell water that can cure everything and we don’t believe them either, I’m not going to buy it withouth real proofs.

and I would remind people that real demonic possessions do occur and paranormal displays which are very frightening are evidenced

I would like you to remind this sentence: Pics or it didn’t happened. Please provide the evidences for any event to be considered paranormal. Or for a demon possession.

Remember Yoga is not simply exercise but based in magical eastern traditions, and breathing and certain exercises are there to open the psychic side and open up oneself like a channel to the spirit world to enter.

Remember magic does not exist, and that there is not any good reason to think that the spirit world do exist, either. Eastern traditions also believed in crazy things but that doesn’t make them real. When was the last time you saw a dragon?

One girl i know and her friend who both had admitted to having abortions, have ruined their lives
You should be the last person in the world to be let know those confidencies. Lying for Jesus is still lying.

This man has saved more lives than i can count

That’s because 0 was an eastern invention and as such, it is demonic.

    • Custador says:

      Skimmed this, but working backwards:

Being educated doesn’t mean one has morals or prevent one from becoming a charlatan – or just being mentally ill and actually believing the bullshit one peddles. He’s saved lives. Great. So have I. I’ve still never seen one single jot of evidence for the supernatural, though.

This quote is just to good not to point at and laugh:

“I know former witches and occultists, yoga/reiki practitioners who have had demonic problems”

You don’t know former “witches”, dude. You might know an emo who dresses in black a lot and self-harms, but that’s as close to a witch as has ever or will ever exist. Can I also say, putting yoga in with witches doesn’t exactly increase your credibility. I do yoga – it’s great for strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. I don’t do witchcraft – which seems only to be good for looking like a prat.

    • Custador says:

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…….. *snrk* …… HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!

You’re claiming this guy “exorcised” Teh Ghey from you?!

      BWWWWAAAAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!

    • Skippy says:

What the fcuk is “an abortion spirit”?

      • Francesc says:

It is an alcoholic drink done with fermented human foetuses that we atheists enjoy while praying to Satan and having orgies with succubus.

    • Ted Garvin says:

According to the learned cove Barnum, there’s one born every minute. Also, if you go looking for something, you’ll find it, whether it’s there or no.
