  1. LRA says:

Yes, Oliver (who retired to Texas, btw) had a mitochondrial dna disorder.

  2. Siberia says:

Oh yes. I saw in TV the other day this girl who was 29 and looked like a baby – literally. She didn’t grow, didn’t develop, didn’t walk (but she did crawl and could stand holding on furniture), her face was deformed… my first thought was “wtf, human/ape hybrid”, because her behavior was almost… apelike, y’know? Turns out she had a severe thyroid problems, and being born of illiterate, very poor people (and I do mean very) in the backwaters of society, she was never diagnosed or treated. Sad stuff.

    • Custador says:

Sounds like hypothyroidism. It’s quite common, and the sad part is it can be treated with a readily available hormone treatment called Thyroxin which is exactly the same hormone that a normal thyroid gland produces anyway.

  3. David says:

Whoa, did the pianist really say that upon seeing Oliver aggresively mount Janet, he resolved to buy Oliver and brought his mother to meet him?

  4. tysdaddy says:

I had some time to kill, so I watched the whole thing.

Fascinating! The ending was chilling . . .

  5. Korny says:

I havnt watched the rest, just this one clip, but I found the idea really creepy.

  6. faithnomore says:

    Fascinating!
