Wonder how how he thought about it when he was “alone”

  4. PozzSka says:

I love that he backed behind the women. Does that mean that he views the women as HIS protectors? So he is putting the women in a position of power? Doesn’t that go against the christian bible?

    “…but he’s irresistible”

    Hilarious.

I just came back from a trip to Australia. The Chaser’s War on Everything is an absolutely amazing show. This isn’t uncommon behavior for them. At the same time he’s really lucky those ladies didn’t kill him.

    • nessie says:

Yeah, I kept waiting for them to bring one of those signs down on his head!

      • JK says:

I don’t think they would do anything like that in front of a cam. People think they are weirdos anyway but if they started attacking ppl…

I’m sorry for that man by the way. Since he didn’t really condemn the advances of the interviewer that might be seen as inappropriate by his folks…

  6. Randallphobia says:

    That was brilliant.
I’m impressed that the reporter didn’t get hit by those lunatics.
I hope that he gets the Australian equivilant of an Emmy.

I’m gay and it took me a long time to realize it but the sad part is the Westboro Baptist Church is absolutely right. The Biblical god does hate gay people. The Biblical god is one of the most sick, twisted, and corrupt beings ever conceived of by human kind, and the people at the Westboro Baptist Church are an expression of just how sick and twisted it really is.

    • Angie says:

I once heard a talk by Rabbi Peter Knobel on being gay within the confines of the Judeo/Christian confines. He said the old testament admonishes different kinds of heterosexual acts something like 400 times in its pages whereas homosexuality is only referenced 4 times. He said that it also instructs that above all else, we should love, all things and each other. He said it is up to Christians and Jews, which verses they will choose to found their beliefs upon. He chooses love. He is not gay and I am neither Jewish, Christian or gay. Nonetheless, these are words for all of us.

      • Francesc says:

In general, Jews seem to be far more rational than christians do. But the problem is not either the Bible says homosexuality is good or it is bad. The real problem is to believe that a book written at another time for another society is currently useful to guide ours, and that it should be read pretty much literally.

I don’t hear people defending slavery because it is in the Bible, but sure they were some christians defending that at the secession war; the bible keep saying the same, but our society has evolved and doesn’t accept slavery anymore.

Someday homosexuality is going to be accepted by everybody but some crazy fundies, and those verses are simply going to be forgotten, because “the bible is the word of god” but god’s wishes depends upon the reader’s opinions.

  8. I love how he runs and hides behind his wife’s skirt, like a child.

Here is another clip from their previous show, CNNNN, in which they actually found themselves on the recieving end of some unexpected advances:

By the way they are comedians, not journalists.
