Well, yes. You live in a very religious country. You can’t very well tell people from infancy that one brand of supernatural hokum is valid and true and then expect them to be immune to all other brands. In Britain I’ve found without exception that the gullibles who believe in mediums and psychics have all been Christian. Usually Catholic, actually, now I come to think of it.
