Jesus Said Obama Is the Anti-Christ!

Shocking!

I find it hilarious that these people look up words and make the Bible say whatever they want. The sad thing is, people actually believe them. Religion is amazingly useful for making people believe stupid things with passion.

    Asinine fatuity.

  2. Travis says:

WHOOOO! after 2,000 years of waiting GOD IS FINALLY BACK. ’bout time he came to get us. I guess christians were right that Bush was trying to get things ready for God so that God could send us the anti-christ.

Still, I won’t believe Obama is the anti-christ until I see the birth certificate.

    • nomad says:

“I won’t believe Obama is the anti-christ until I see the birth certificate.”
      lol!

    • Linda says:

It is past strange and mysterious that Obama does not produce a birth certificate.
Birth certificates not only prove we were born, but also prove we are human, and were born from two other humans, a man and a woman.
It is also strange and mysterious that the politicians who see him every day and look him right in his eyes don’t say a thing about it.
And strange that Obama is spending thousands of dollars maybe millions to hide something from the world by not producing it.
One cannot produce what does not exist.
We all know the Antichrist is coming. For those who don’t believe it, he is still going to be revealed as the apostle Paul said.
He is the man of sin the son of perdition and he will exalt himself above all that is called God…
Obama KNOWS we want to see a birth certificate, so it remains to be seen that he will respond to the American people one one way or another.
He will either produce it or say there is none to show.
      Either way he loses.

  3. Michael says:

    lol!

  4. fftysmthg says:

Silly funtobementals. Barack Obama isn’t the anti-christ. Ronald Reagan was the anti-christ!!! How do I know this? His name, Ronald Wilson Reagan, his first, middle, and last name had six letters. See??? 666. It’s so obvious.

  5. L. Jerome says:

What will they do when it turns out he isn’t the antichrist – he isn’t Muslim – and he isn’t a terrorist.

When he is finished serving his term and all their BS did not come true. When they show us the bible and say it has been forseen…god says this is happening…when it doesn’t happen, what will they do?

Will they say, hmm, I must have been wrong, he must not have been the antichrist, will they even remember that they said it or will they chalk it up to another great mystery?

When the earth doesn’t end and none of these prophecies come true, will they ever do what the bible tells them to do and RUN FROM FALSE PROPHETS?

    • Yoav says:

they’ll do what they always do. Go on and on about any miniscule coincidence that sort of fit into their profecies and ignore the huge gaps where reality have kicked them in the balls, the traditional version of religious intellectual honesty.

    • Elemenope says:

I’m pretty sure it actually says to kill false prophets.

    • Baconsbud says:

They will do what they always do deny it or say it was all the praying done by the faithful that kept the rapture at bay. Wait isn’t the rapture what they are all wanting? Shouldn’t they be celebrating that they believe he is the anti-christ.

  6. Zotmaster says:

I love how they do the “I’m not saying it, I’m just saying it” kind of thing.

And can we also agree that anyone who uses any variation of any Fox News slogan – much less “We report, you decide” – is a douche and deserves to be flogged?

    • phrankygee says:

There is a YouTube contributor by the name “liberalviewer” who uses the report/decide line in every post, who is very non-douchey. He mostly makes fun of FOX, or calls them out on B.S.

So that’s one data point against flogging.

  7. Roger says:

Isn’t it interesting how fundementeds almost always shut down comments or ratings on their YouTube videos but don’t hesitate to run to any video (and I do mean ANY) that offends their delicate sensibilities and low rate it and flood the comments with their godbottery?

  8. brgulker says:

Watching videos like this make me thankful for guys like James F. McGrath.

    • phrankygee says:

Once again we agree completely on a factual matter, Gulker.

666/616 refer to Ceasar Nero, alive at the time of the book’s writing.

I also like Bob “the bible geek” Price’s thought that the “antichrist” is an archetype, not an individual, and that a useful and honest reading should be taken as a warning of any charismatic leader, in any time, who amasses power around himself, and institutes policies that depersonalize ,over-restrict, and commoditize the people. That sort of person is AN anti-Christ figure, not THE Antichrist.

      • brgulker says:

Yeah, and let me tell you, it was a relief when I learned all of that. The thought of the Book of Revelation being about a literal future that was predestined to happen was something that never sat well with me.

    • phrankygee says:

The comment thread on this McGrath post is hi-LAR-ious!

particularly the guy who starts talking UFO’s and Grand Illuminated Masters of the Age, and whatnot.

      • brgulker says:

this is the dumbest blog I’ve evern seen! If Nero was the Beast of Revelation Christians would have already raptured. By no means are you a Bible scholar at all. You are obviously a misled christian that is in support for Obama.

Please except Jesus and he will show you the truth!

        This one is my favorite.

Atheist blogs aren’t the only ones that get spammed, just so you know ;)

    • nomad says:

And that was written over a year ago!

  9. Chas says:

Does this mean that any time the bible uses the word “hell,” it really means “heaven,” and vice versa, and then maybe not? Well, that clears up a lot of things I learned in catechism.

  10. Gibbette says:

This may be the most disturbing thing I’ve seen ever. And I’m teaching Bible as Lit (Yes – ironic, isn’t it?) in the fall. I hope this isn’t the kind of carp I’m going to have to deal with from the fundie students this year. Ten bucks says I get at least one question about this in the first few weeks of school. I’d better get my response ready now.

    • brgulker says:
      • Gibbette says:

        Thanks!

I think if (when) this comes up in class, I will turn it into a research assignment. Using scholarly sources only, find at least two other historical figures who have been accused of being the anti-christ, and describe the main arguments for and against.

If it doesn’t come up in class, maybe I’ll make it a homework assignment anyway.

        Smile.

      • Yoav says:

They used a trick that is very common by jewish misticists when using this Gimatria BS to prove some sort of connection between things and changed the normal spelling of the words. The way they spell while linguisticlly correct is not the way that Nero ceasar will be normally spelled in hebrew. however if they were to keep the spelling it will and up nero=686 which doesn’t work as well.

  11. Anon says:

this wouldn’t have anything to do with him being black would it? :-P

  12. Olaf says:

Why can’t these people that are so learned come up with the real important question for wich the answer is 42!

It clearly must be somewhere in that bible!

  13. Obama is not the anti-Christ, but I sure wish he were anti-Christ (i.e. against Christianity).

    • Elemenope says:

Why? Beyond the general intolerance of it all, as a practical matter Christianity historically flourishes under conditions of repression.

  14. Mike says:

I just don’t get it. Whether the words were “spoken” in Greek, Aramaic, or pig-latin doesn’t matter. This whole line of reasoning starts with a huge unfounded presumption, that presumption is this: Jesus Christ, being the messiah and the son of god, said those exact words in that exact order. I have a lot of trouble making all those leaps of faith just to try to prove that a president is a bad guy. These people need serious psychological help.

  15. Zarathustra says:

So, what I got out of this is that Heaven, Hell, and high places are the same thing, the hebrew word for lightning is baraq, for some reason Hebrew has three words that mean the same thing, and if we read select words and sections poetically we can pick which words we want to use for reverse translation. But who is the Baraq Bamah person, and why do they show pictures of the president at the end?

    • wintermute says:

And, of course, “Barak” is derived from the Hebrew word “Barach” (“Blessed”), not “Baraq”.

But thanks for playing, crazy preacher man!

  16. Zarathustra says:

On a separate note, if Jesus knew who his nemesis would be thousands of years in advance, wouldn’t he just have said “Oh, and the bad guy’s name is Baraq Bamah. He is totally not cool,” instead of being so cryptic that we need to read something poetically in order to get an approximation of a name of someone we know?

Moreover, wouldn’t he have written it himself instead of waiting for some guy to write a few fanciful lines about Satan decades after he was dead?

Lastly, why doesn’t anyone ever try to decode who the next Christ will be? wouldn’t that be a bit more positive spin on the whole Armageddon thing?

    I never get these people

  17. ironflange says:

This is so stupid it hurts.

  18. Warren S says:

OMFG I don’t regularly comment but I am compelled to add my contempt at the incredulity of so many xtians. I once read a serious article which attempted to convince xtians that Budapest was one of Satan’s strong holds because it really meant Buddha is a Pest, and since Buddha was a demonic entity leading people to hell, this city was clearly his staging ground and should be targeted for extra prayer and spiritual warfare. The stupidity of xtians dumbfounds me.

  19. Yoav says:

The only piece of true information in the video is that lightning in hebrew is indeed baraq. The video go on about if the bible was talking on heaven it will use the word Shamaim which is the word actually used and which mean sky in hebrew. Bamah is used for high man made platform such as a theater stage or at the time of writing platform used for sacrifices or where a throne may be standing which is probably the meaning the text in isaiah was going to as it is clearly talking about the king of babilon. The only connection to satan is that the name Hillel ben-shachar (lit. Hillel sun of the dawn) which was a name for the dawn star which is the brightest star visible and which was used here as a metaphor for the greatest king of the time was in a very convoluted translation to latin via the greek became lucifer.

  20. Keauxjak says:

a lack of education coupled with a religious superiority complex is a recipe for disaster. what a lunatic.

  21. RobotzAreAwesome says:

That little pussy who made this video has comments and even PM’s blocked. Here is what I was going to send his way:

“If god were going to give us a clue, couldn’t he have pronounced his last name correctly instead of omitting the vowel at the beginning. How many rabbit trails did you run down to tie this together?

In other words, you are a complete fucktard.

    1) Your bible says the sun goes around the earth. It is not a revelation from god. Only a fool would believe such nonsense.

    2) There are many people who will buy into this shit believing its true and will feel no remorse in taking him out. You are guilty of anything that happens. You should be completely ashamed of yourself you waste of a human being.

    Good day sir.”

  22. zack says:

OMG! They have decoded gods secret message! They are just so smart…….
Some people are so dumb it scares me.

  23. Yoav says:

Been a while since I last watched the omen movies but if I remember correctly Damian could be identified by the way his hair grew to mark the 666 on is scalp. Obama has a short hair which should make the numbers easy to spot so all we have to do is watch the TV coverage and try to spot the sign of the beast if we can’t then I guess he isn’t really the antichrist. This video is one of the biggest piles of bovine manure I seen in a long time.

  24. PKW says:

Some people around here think the pope is the antichrist.

  25. Mitch McDad says:

Shit. I can’t believe I voted for the anti-christ. I always thought I was Sarah Palin was the anti-christ but it turns out she is just a dumb-shit.

I love how the book of Isiah quotes Satan’s own words. How the hell did Isiah get that interview?? He could make so much money today reporting for Extra.

  26. Julio says:

Human stupidity has just hit a whole new low. :|

  27. Nathan says:

There is only one thing to say about this video; EPIC FAIL!!!!

  28. David says:

The 1st time I seen this man on TV speak to people, I seen the crowd overwhelmed by this man (Obama)! It really surprised me to see people in this state, almost like a brainwashing seminer.
I seen this many times throughout his campiagn. I knew then, this man (obama) was very( very) different. Is he the Antichrist? Yes ?No? I can only tell you my opinion, or what I think. That is all any of us can do. Read what you want, watch videos online and come to your own decission.
The botton line is, if your a Christian, and you think obama IS the antichrist, you should be rejoycing, the rapture is not far away.
If he is not the antichrist, then life going on…….he just another President thats going to take this country down.
    Non-Christians, either way, you lose.
    God Bless ALL of you.

  29. RICHARD SCHURZ says:

    Dear brother in Jesus,
God says, “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come!. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned that will I do!” Isaiah 46:10a, 11b
Enclosed are complete Bible studies on every important question related to the End-Times which may be very close.

[long copy/paste nonsense redacted by Admin]

  30. kjpweb says:

For one – if they stretch that stuff so far out – they could as well have somehow found the missing “o” in Bamah.
And Richard Schurz? I’m not your brother. And after reading your concuction I am very sure I don’t wanna be. And did you actually read the Stuff you wrote? It’s ridiculous. Your math does not really meet reality – so you end up with wild guesstimates and assumptions to start with and not being any better than the nonsense of the video.

  31. Hi Everybody, I’m a true, real life, Christain. For those of you who have never met one I’m here to fulfill this amazing feet for you. Only the Holy Spirit can bring you to the love of truth. Those of you who don’t understand truth fall pray to the world and can’t know truth. He will give all of you a chance to come to Him; it’s up to you if you do. I know the churchs of today don’t live up to the Bible but don’t blam God for mans makings. He’s watching and soon He will come to judge the quick and the dead.

    • trj says:

Sorry, not really interested in “truths” that can’t stand up for themselves.

    • Yoav says:

Oh, so you’re that mythical true christian™ we keep hearing about. And I don’t blame god for anything since blaming a fictional character is a waste of time. I don’t even blame people for inventing god since back then that was the best way they had to explain the universe. I do however blame someone who has access to all the scientific data accumulated over the last 3000 years but who still insist on sticking with the ideas of a bunch bronze age goat herds.

    • The Fab Tortilla says:

I have amazing feet too. Size 11 if you can believe it. And you know what they say about girls with big feet. ;)

    • Skippy says:

You’d think that your magical sky daddy would at least help you to write a grammatically correct bit of proselytizing.
