I don’t think so, made sense to me.
Blacks are Americas most religious ethnic group. I read one poll that stated 70% of Blacks believe everything is the bible is true. Yet few people want to talk about how this extreme religious belief is hurting Black America (or Africa the world’s most religious continent). Can any one see the people in the video ever getting a good science education and getting a high paying job?
Sadly in America there is an unholy alliance between the Black clerical class and the Black political class. This is why President Obama (who most of us assume is privately not a true believe like Bush Jr) had a bow down to Jesus at the crude and racist Rev Wright’s church in Chicago.
So any hope of creating a more secular and better Black America will have to happen at the grass roots.

I think these people have mistaken the party spirit for the holy spirit. If I remember correctly, there’s something written about not partaking in the party spirit… I could be wrong.
You’ve got to admit, though, that this looks like a lot more fun than sitting there with your hands in your lap while getting preached at. Or Catholic calisthenics. At least these folks are having some fun with it.
Oh they get plenty of preaching at! Down here in the South the black churches hold services that last for hours on Sunday. From like 10am until 3-4 in the afternoon. Long after the white churches let out at noon, eat their K&W and change out of their church clothes, the black services are still going on. B.R.U.T.A.L.
Think of how hard this is for the little kids who are made to suffer through it.
