Totally awesome, cept for the bit about the end about us owing humanity to be more than a miniscule blip on this timeline, everytime someone says something like this I singing. Whatever will be will be the future not ours to see etc
Que Sera Sera? That’s a bit of an irresponsible attitude, don’t you think? We DO have an obligation to our fellow human beings, whether we’re around to see what they do with it or not.
My obligation is to my current community and the world I live in. Not a future billions of years down the road. We are a blip and I refuse to worry about. So Que Sera Sera is exactly right. I hope my impact today might have a future impact, but Id rather think about here and now. Whatever will be, will be. As long as I feel I have led the best life I could
That part fell flat for me, too. I have an unchosen positive obligation to myself and to people who are billions of years in the future to have someone witness the dying embers of the universe? That part just felt like a hammer against the head. They should have stuck with the awesomeness of the universe instead of some bizarre argument that someone at some point seeing these things is inherently valuable. Or at least gone about it more tactfully, not so pushy.
Total Recall, sayeth the site info. (You can click the little YTMND tab in the top left of any YTMND site to see its image/sound source, the creator, the rating, and a link to the comment/profile page for that site.)

Oh, awesome. I didn’t know that – I’ve only seen maybe one or two other things on that site.
Thanks!
