Is it just me? G*d says some of the reindeer are gay, but what about him? Like the mannerisms and how the shirt (blouse?) matches the blue hair LOL

    • Custador says:

      Does it really matter?

    • JTFC says:

God (note proper spelling, there is a letter ‘o’ in the middle, not an asterisk) IS gay. God is also straight. God is asexual, pansexual, bisexual, trisexual, you name it. See, that’s the great thing about believing in an entity that is everything. That means that it is EVERYTHING!

Including the most important thing, NOTHING.

    @JustSomeGuy
Brian Dalton(God) is married in real life to Amy Rohren(Lucy) which indicates to me that he is probably not gay. She very likely has something to do with what he wears. If I were married to her I’d wear anything she wanted me to wear. Amy is hot!

  3. You gotta admit… it’s kind of a strange perversion to devote one’s blog to everything and anything one can research, recycle, embed, link, recommend, quote, and reference in opposition to something that doesn’t even exist.. isn’t it?

I mean, it’s one thing to worship a fairy tale, but it’s quite another to devote one’s time shooting incessantly at a target you, the shooter, has already deemed dead…. isn’t it?

I mean, if I started a company called Z Berry Juice based on a new fruit I had discovered called “Fruit Z,” and then you totally disproved the existence of Fruit Z (at which point you and all your pals wrote me off as a quack and went home), why in the world would you go on ad nauseam attempting to disprove the existence of Fruit Z?

I mean, atheists are always telling me that I may as well worship Zeus because he’s every bit as legit as God. If this is so, and Zeus and God are both a couple of fairy tales, why bother attacking them? At least be consistent and start an anti Zeus site, along with an anti Pinocchio site and…

So if we can all agree it is silly to continue to hammer away at a board that has already been nailed into place, then what’s the point?

    Just wonderin’

    • Mike says:

Dino – if Christians and others were prepared to keep their ludicrous fairy-tales to themselves, I’d have to agree with you. If belief were just a private matter, what harm? But when religion starts thrusting its absurdities on the rest of us in politics; wants equal time given to IDiotic ideas in science classes; and flies planes into buildings to show whose invisible friend is bigger, then it’s time to take a stand.

      Just sayin’

    • Kodie says:

Dino – it hasn’t been “nailed into place,” obviously. We don’t have to have an anti-Zeus site because Zeus is already deemed fictional, whereas so many people cling to their superstitious beliefs about other gods and it infects the culture. I think you are mistaking the difference between something we are already pretty sure about, and something that is not agreed upon and still affects us, no matter that it’s not true.

If you want to believe in god, that’s your thing. If you think that means that beliefs in god or gods don’t project themselves down our throats and into our policies, then you are ignorant. Still all well and good, nobody is making you read these blogs, so that does open the questions up for why are you here if you know what you think you know, and have nothing to add but complaints? We could say why are Christians anywhere if there’s already a god? Why don’t they stop hammering away at their websites and just keep it to themselves? Why communicate with each other at all on topics that interest us? Why have a dialogue, it’s all unimportant? Why are there websites at all? People blog about inane boring stuff, why don’t you tell them how boring and empty their lives are, and egotistical to think anyone wants to read it online? Why are you picking on this site particularly? If you want to know why this site is here, we might ask why you keep posting to it? Because you’re not saying anything that you don’t already know, why hammer that board if it’s already nailed in place for you?

You are also thinking that you are typical dude. You don’t need any more atheism – maybe you think you get it. Then good for you. This site is not for you. Others are questioning their beliefs and looking for a community to discuss it, or are not open to discuss it within their families or communities and need free space to find others who are not crazy with religion. Why do you want to stand in their way, why do you think this idea of atheism is settled for us, then everyone in the world also has their mind made up too, and suggest the site just isn’t offering a benefit to anyone? Does the whole internet have to serve you alone, or can other people look up what they want and talk about what they like to people who want to talk about the same things?

    • Roger says:

Simple solution, Dino: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
