It’s often hard to find a specific survey on religion & science — I know because I’m often looking for them. The NCSE has put together lists of polls & surveys that looks very helpful. It has:
- National and state polls on evolution, creationism, or some combination of the two.
- International polls
- Polls on creationism related to the supernatural origin of life
- Polls on evolution that look at public perception, understanding, and acceptance of evolution and science
- Polls on the intersection of science and religion
- Polls of scientists, students, teachers, and other specific audiences
Thanks, NCSE!

LRA, I know you don’t like it when I mess with Texas, but: I would be ashamed of this.
But conversely, I think you can be very proud about this.
Don’t forget these polls too:

Whoo hoo.
I enjoyed this one:

It had a link to the FASEB website but it didn’t work. So I found it:

In America, there is a lack of political leadership this issue. Is there an outspoken pro-evolutionist in elected office? Or do most elected officials just pandered to creationist and religious voters by reminding quiet on the issue. Maybe we need to start asking our candidates where they stand, since some many need to show off (including Obama) that they have a personal meeting with Jesus.
Being raised a fundamentalist; I was shielded from learning about evolution. Learning about evolution was one the most liberating experiences or my life.
