Cindy Jacobs on the Egyptian Protests

Cindy Jacobs helpfully provides a condensed version of all the right wing conspiriacism and end times hysteria relating to Egyptian unrest.

World War III, evil Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic Caliphate, Satan, irrelevant bible references, yep, that’s the whole checklist.

Consider this a companion piece to the helpful prayer guide produced by Jacobs and the group Generals International. I found this part particularly helpful:

The CHANGE that the Muslim Brotherhood will bring is not democracy, but rather the removal of all Western influences in Egypt. (NOTE: Two years ago American citizens discovered the danger of blindly voting for un-delineated change, simply because of discontent with the present leadership.)

Well, as long as her call for action is limited to prayer and fasting, I say go for it. Even if it’s done based on stupid presuppositions.

  2. zach says:

she lost me the moment she said “prophet”

  3. Justice Gustin says:

What the hell does she keep smiling for?

    Subconscious bullshit detector maybe?

    • JohnMWhite says:

Could be, though I would not be surprised if it were a zealous glee at the possibility that the End is Nigh and she might get to meet her megacrush, Jesus. While the rest of us burn, naturally.

  4. claidheamh mor says:

I’m having trouble getting through it in another window, but she looks like she hates the idea of any other woman having any sex life at all. When the video froze, she looked like she had tasted a bitter alkaloid. Other freezes look like nasty grimaces. Try it! That is one uptight-ass broad.

  5. Stan Taylor says:

I agree with Zach. She casually referred to herself as a prophet. Weird.

  6. Conrad says:

I would like to see a Wikipedia page on Cindy Jacobs. I’m afraid I haven’t the knowledge, nor time, to create it.

  7. Dan says:

Why does she look like she is in pain whenever she tries to smile?

  8. cornbread_r2 says:

If only holy water worked for html fails… :/

  9. Justice Gustin says:

What happens when you boil holy water?

  10. tinyfrog says:

Is this the same right-wing that used “spreading democracy in the Middle East” as a justification for the Iraq war?

  11. Robster says:

Is she a prophet, or loss?

  12. CriticalEyes says:

What this “BITCH” is really worried about is that her ‘christianity’ will be thrown out of Egypt….. along with the rest of the garbage……….

  13. JohnnyAl says:

She keeps saying, “…god wants to do” this, and “god wants to do” that. Well, why doesn’t he?!? I guess he needs suckers to fast and pray first. Yeah, like starving yourself and talking to your imaginary friend will do anything. Oh yeah, I’m sure there will be a request for money soon.

  14. Jon H says:

I love that she calls the Muslim Brotherhood “radical” without a hint of irony.

    Pot, meet kettle.

  15. Skippy says:

What a frakkin’ idiot. So, in her myopic view, Satan is fomenting democratic revolution? I’m assuming then that she does not support the celebration of July 4th here in the United States, as that was clearly a satanic plot to prevent the ‘harvest of souls.’
