On the back of Daniel’s article from last week about the homophobic pastor who tuned out to be a pederast, the UK evangelical community has obviously decided not to be out-done:
“Dr Albert Odulele, who runs Glory House International, admitted indecently assaulting a boy aged 14 and sexually assaulting a 21-year-old man – both former members of his congregation.” [Channel 4 News]
I was going to make some glib comments about this, but I just can’t bring myself to joke about a manipulative priest sexually assaulting a fourteen year old boy.
“[Odulele] admitted to police that he had been ‘battling’ with his sexuality for years. He denied the offences were pre-planned.”
Almost as if his sexuality was… Part of him… Like… It isn’t a choice to be attracted to males… Hmmmmm. I think I’ll just end with this last little snippet:
“Glory House International has been a registered charity for 18 years and has a turnover of £2 million a year.”
Just in case anybody was worried that evangelical Christianity hadn’t crossed the pond in its entirety…
A paedophile priest – really?
Again, sexual assault on a 14 year old makes him a paedophile, certainly in the eyes of the law in the UK.

He sexually assaulted a 14 year old boy. That is paedophilia.

I think I got misunderstood. What the church normally says is that he was a paedophile because he was gay. Not that he was a paedophile who happened to be gay.
Everytime this occurs the churches involved often blame homosexuality as the cause of the incident.
So the paedophile got up to read from the Gospel and the congregation stood to listen to the word of god. So where is the news in that.

This is disgusting. I don’t normally advocate violence, but they should be strung up. It is sad this is tolerated like it is.
It’s interesting how teh Gay is always called a choice, until it’s a prominent Christian who succumbs – at which point it was caused by a demon or it was a battle fought for years before he gave in to the evil.
Don’t y’all see that turning your backs to God will only lead to you living in all kinds of discusting lifestyles – paedophilia, homosexuality, beastiality, necrophilia, etc. What is the difference? Sex should only happen between a man and a woman, in the confines of a legal marriage ;p
For my Xtian friends, the Bible and their faith in God is the only thing that keeps them from becoming homosexual cannibal paedophile rapists. And for us atheists, it’s the laws and common human decency that keeps us from killing each other and eating the remains. So who is the better person?
