The Lego world conquest continues apace. Not only are Lego machines capable of creating 3d models, this contraption made of Legos and run by a Android smartphone can solve a Rubik’s Cube in 5.35 seconds. That edges out the fastest human time, proving Lego superiority once and for all.

I still have my drawer with lego technic in my room, it was an important part of my childhood.
As a kid I would have gone in a frenzy if I had the lego that’s available now.
The machine is impressive, but I can’t help but think that it took them several shots to record the amazing feat above.
I say this mostly because of the euphoric YAAAY they scream when they see the success.
There is, ultimately, nothing that a human can do (that is, perspiration) that a properly programmed machine cannot do better, faster, and with fewer resources. Until machines (or programs) are able to create new things (that is, inspiration), I won’t worry. Once a machine creates the next Rubik’s Cube, then I’ll worry. Also, not holding my breath.
Yeah, but in that Mythbusters episode they utterly failed in making a simple ball that would roll without falling apart.
