Has everyone seen the reports on the 4 Shafia women killed in Canada, apparently honor killings?
YES!!! I find it so ironic that the father moved to Canada (obviously to get away from his own country!) and it never entered his mind that his daughters MIGHT embrace their new country and it’s customs. He and his “other” wife and son should suffer the same fate as the 4 beautiful souls they so wantonly killed!
There is no such thing as an honour killing.

Hmmm…this particular entry irked me. Really, really lowbrow. Reminds me of the kind of stuff right-wing evangelical acquaintances email me on a regular basis.
