Sometimes elements of another tradition find their way into a religion. This is commonly known as Syncretism, and it is something that is often at play when we talk about the religions of Haitian Vodou and New Orleans Voodoo. Witchcraft and Wicca have also been known to incorporate other elements into their practices.
