India 1979

Over the weekend Brad and I were visiting his mother and we ended up spending a good part of the day looking at old picture albums. It was really nice. And I discovered this picture...That would be Brad's mom in Agra in 1979, three years before I was born. Bhajan Singing

I went back to the Sathya Sai Baba group on Saturday for their more regular service.It's always challenging to be in a new place with unfamiliar people, but I know if I keep at it, I'll make friends and become part of the fabric of the group.The first part was practice for the bhajans, which are hymns. My Experience with Sathya Sai Baba Group

Brad and I went to check out the Sathya Sai Baba group at the interfaith center on Saturday.There was a special event going on for Mother's day with the teenage groups doing a presentation. We were a little late getting there (it was quite a busy weekend!), so we slipped in and got the second half of the boy's presentation about recycling, reusing, and the protection of the environment.
