An ancient Celtic order of Asatru eh? Why I don't know whether to laugh or cry! I think I might call the Salt Lake Tribune this week and ask for a correction to be published. As far as the prisoners having runes, is this an issue of they can not have a set even if they were to gather stones, wood bits or what they could find, and made thier own? Or is it a matter of allowing a set to be sent from the free world? One does not have to have a set of runic staves to study and work with the runes. Divination is a different matter and the staves are most useful for this funcion. As for spells one does not need a set of runic staves to cast runic spells. The fear of covert operations going on because one is allowed a set of staves is silly as well. One does not need a set of runic staves to write messages in runic form. If the prisoners know the runes they don't need anything more than what is in thier minds to write letters in the runic alphabet. Apparently that DoC is nae to bright to say the least!Hail and fare weather!~M~

Asatru is NOT a Celtic religion! The Celts were a separate culture and worshiped completely different deities. There is also no such thing as a 'High Priest' of Asatru or any other Heathen community. Heathens do not need intervention between themselves and the Gods. I do wish the media would do its reseach properly before repeating these urban myths.
