One Step Behind The New Paradigm

I’m always trying to keep up with the latest methods Pagans use to communicate on the Internet and the latest trend seems to be MySpace.com. The free service is a mixture of journaling and networking services like LiveJournal.com and Friendster.com along with a service for bands to create pages featuring streaming music and the ability for people to create bulletin board style group accounts.

Here are some Pagan-oriented communities I have found that look interesting.

MySpace Pagans
Occult Studies
The Pagan Circle
The Arts
The Green Mother’s Tea Room
Slavic and Baltic Paganism
Roman Paganism
Wiccan Salvation
Wiccans of the World
Asatru
and lets not forget the Discordians

…and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

There are over 5000 religiously oriented groups on MySpace already, including groups for Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Taoists, Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Mormons, Baha’i, Unitarian Universalists, and several groups dedicated to Jesus and strangely ninjas.

Maybe Beliefnet would look more like this if it was dominated by a younger demographic.

Oh, and if your curious I have one too (mostly used in my capacity as a DJ).
