A Concept Album I Can Get Behind
The Futureheads (who do an amazing cover of Kate Bush’s “Hounds of Love”) have big plans for their next album according to XFM online.
“The new album’s going to be so long it’ll be spread over four albums. It’s a concept album about Pagans and paganism basically. The Mayflower and our journey to America is inspiring us to look upon the initial journeys to America. We will be burning the boats on the cover and having our own little tea party? The Tyne Side tea party!”
Is this the start of a new interest in Paganism amongst the alternative rock set? I mean, besides Bjork and Tori Amos of course. Oh and speaking of Kate Bush she has a new album coming out in November, her first in twelve years.
