I must agree that Buckland would have done better by not responding. While Plaisance's press release may have put a spin on the situation I found it to be in no way an attack on Buckland and for all purposes seemed to be a professional attempt at subverting any further drama and also keeping the 'dirtiness' out of the public eye.
