Greetings Bryon! I will soon be launching a sister-blog to my own to discuss supporting the MRFF...not only financially (for those able in these tough days) but magically!
If prayer curses are to be launched...why not a magical curtain of protection, and for those who don't mind the smiting job---a counter-attack! The new blog will be called "The Candle"....I hope to have it up sometime next week.

The same nasty imprecations launched as "prayers" are being directed against Mike Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. Mike gets dozens of calls a day from service members being pressured by ultra-Christian commanders to "be born again" and told (even if they ARE mainstream Christian) that they are hell-bound for not being part of "Christ's Army". He has received so many death-threats that he is no longer insurable, has to hire security and has an FBI agent on his case full-time; to no avail apparently. The MRFF has launched a lawsuit about these curse-like prayers, and the Dominionist/Christian Identity types who seem in control of the military chaplaincy. I fervently urge financially supporting MRFF, because I believe this is the last wall of defense for separation of Church and State. Getting control of the military arm IS how religious fundamentalists got control in other countries.
