These snails have been known to be so voracious as to eat the stucco off houses, and entire blocks of residences in Florida were once inundated and quarantened because of them. Not good.

May I suggest toad licking? Granted it’s more native american; but it doesn’t hurt the species of toad (other than, possibly, inducing a hellish state of fear and a sense of being sexually victimized). I’m also told that while it doesn’t cure anything, it at least gives one a buzz – this is second hand information – I’ve never tried it myself. On the other hand, ANYTHING must taste better than peyote.

I will stick with escargot.
