A Philadelphia man received a massive prison sentence on Monday. Lawrence Jamieson pled guilty in September for having more than 14 million images of child pornography. He also pled guilty to sex crimes. On Monday a Federal court judge sentenced Jamieson to 100 years in prison. Authorities say his case is the most extensive collection of child pornography they have seen in the State of Pennsylvania.

Jamieson’s stash of porn was a by-product of his arrest for child sexual abuse. He and a friend lured an underage girl with autism to perform sexual acts on them. During his arrest, they uncovered more than 14.4 images of children and toddlers experiencing sexual abuse. Some of the photos included animals sexually abusing the children.

Prosecutors say he downloaded and collected the images off the internet. During the time he obtained the photos, police arrested him for sex crimes. Part of his sentence for those crimes was taking sex-offender classes. Despite the classes, he continued to download the images.

In a press release from the U.S District Attorney’s office handling the case, they noted the images were the most demented images imaginable. As he collected the pictures, he began to traffick the images across the internet. During this time, he targeted a young girl with autism to assault.

Jamieson used a 23-year-old man he knew from a tire store. He had the accomplice lure the girl into a sexual relationship. His co-defendant, Christopher Brown, eventually lured her to his place of employment. He told her he was in high school and attending an online school like the victim. Over time the co-defendant convinced the girl to have sex with him. Brown videotaped their encounters and sent them to Jamieson.

During the faux relationship Brown created, he convinced the girl to have sex with Jamieson. Brown video-taped as Jamieson assaulted the girl. After the initial assault, he began abusing her on a regular basis.

Eventually, the victim’s mother found out about the abuse, and she reported it to a tipline. A Willistown Detective, Stephen Jones, interviewed the girl. She divulged the details of who raped her along with how long it had been going on.

Jamieson and Brown were both arrested in 2016.  Brown also pled guilty and his sentencing is later this month.

After the sentencing, prosecutors thanked the detectives and all the individuals involved in the case for their hard work.

“We are very, very pleased with the sentence,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Michelle Rotella, who prosecuted the case when it was transferred to federal court, after initially being filed in Chester County by local authorities, on Tuesday. “He will never be getting out (of prison) again. He is just a true predator, and if he had ever been released, it is a virtual certainty that he would have victimized someone else.”

The Chester County District attorney who started the case but transferred it to Federal prosecutors praised his detectives for their hard work.

“This was an outstanding investigation by the Willistown Police Department and Chester County Detectives, making the defendant’s conviction a slam-dunk of a case. This was the largest collection of child pornography ever discovered in Chester County, combined with the sexual abuse of the victim, showing once again that child pornography is simply another point on the spectrum of sexual exploitation. We appreciate the Department of Justice using their much higher sentencing guidelines and mandatory minimum sentences to use against this defendant.”

Jamieson is 59 years old. His sentence of 100 years assures he will die in prison.

An additional condition of his sentence is that he cannot communicate with the victim or her family.

Finally, Prosecutors say the victim is completely broken by the assaults. The District Attorney said she is having a hard time moving on. Hopefully, the end of this case will provide the victim with some sense of closure so her healing can begin.

“Some of the photos included animals sexually abusing the children.”

This… this is why some people want to watch the world burn.

“… Jamieson pled guilty in September for having more than 14 million images of child pornography.”

One thing to keep in mind here is that law enforcement is under a mandate to identify every single victim in those photos. That means they will have to look at and study all 14 million photos, over and over and over again, until every single victim has been ID’ed. That could take months, or even years in this case.

I am by no means an apologist for things like police brutality, but think about that the next time you feel like saying “Fuck da police”. I know I couldn’t do that job even for a day without going on a killing spree.

  • I know one of the articles I read on this to write the piece talked about how many images they sorted through to ID. Some have been identified while many have not.

  • WallofSleep

They’re gonna have to keep looking at the ones they haven’t ID’ed until they do. There is no amount of money you could offer me to do that.

  • Yeah that would be the worst part of the job. The prosecutor said they were the worst images they had ever seen in their career. More demented than anything they had been exposed to.

I don’t know how much more demented it can get than: “Some of the photos included animals sexually abusing the children.”, and I don’t want to know. That sort of thing brings the worst part of my psyche to the forefront, and “feeling stabby” doesn’t even begin to describe the dark thoughts that enter my mind.

  • Yeah I wanted to do many mean things to him as I was reading the details.

  • I read SEVERAL articles and condensed it. I didn’t even want to talk about how horrible the victim is – she literally is so broken – can’t move on. paralyzed by what they did to her.

One of the many reasons I don’t have children of my own. If that were my child, I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from turning into a monster.

  • seriously. I am so glad she told her mom.

  • I have a child. My husband always says the same thing about our son.

Sounds like you married well. Congratulations.

  • I always say HE MARRIED Well 🙂

Good thing he’s not a Catholic priest, otherwise the worst he’d get would be a transfer to another diocese

  • I know. Those thoughts crossed my mind

Those days seem to be coming to an end, with various state Attorneys General opening up major investigations into local diocese. It’s happening too slowly for my tastes, but at least it’s happening.

Maybe a few more than that?

You take him to a garden shed, padlock his genitals to the bench, and hand him a knife.

Then you set the shed on fire.
