Our favorite Cabbage pushing pseudo-scientist, Jillian Epperly, is on a Facebook blitz making outrageous claims. Jillian claims her cabbage can cure cancer, reverse Down syndrome, and cure the gay out of people. Generally, she targets adults in her posts. However, she has recently been targeting parents to use her Jilly Juice on their kids. Yesterday in a post, she told parents of children with cancer to abandon medical treatment and to use her juice. Jillian’s advice to parents is reckless… Read more

Tonight, Non-Sequitor is hosting a man that identifies as an Incel. Incels are members of an online subculture who define themselves as unable to find a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one, a state they describe as inceldom. In 2014, the Incel community introduced themselves to the world. Elliot Rodgers opened fire at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Then a Toronto man drove a van into a group of women praising Elliot in 2018. Now the Sothern Poverty Law Center… Read more

A mother of a young woman that works at Applebee’s updated her Facebook a few weeks ago with a compelling message. Regina Boone says her daughter received a note on a napkin after serving a table of four people. Instead of a tip for her daughter, the napkin said, “We don’t tip black people.” Rightfully outraged, Regina shared a photo of the napkin with a message to her daughter. In the status update from September 19th, Regina says, “THIS IS… Read more

According to a large new study completed by Kaiser Permanente, pregnant women receiving prenatal tetanus, diphtheria toxoid, and acellular pertussis (Tdap) do not increase their child’s likelihood of developing autism. The study is the first to research the effects of prenatal vaccines and autism in children. Research completed supports the CDC recommendation that all pregnant women receive the Tdap. In the study, unexposed women to Tdap had a higher incidence of having a child with Autism. The author of the study noted… Read more

Child Protection Services works to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. Workers help families and protect children from harmful environments. Generally, either CPS workers are hated and despised by families for separating parents from children, or they are loved for protecting children. Rarely do we hear of CPS workers breaking the law. However, a Texas CPS worker is in the news after his arrest for soliciting sex with an underage boy. Adrian Martinez, 44, was arrested as part of a… Read more

Earlier this week a video in Ohio sparked outrage and concern for a 10-year-old child. The video shows a 10-year-old boy getting a permanent tattoo at his home. Even though the child is not even a teen, there is no law in Ohio preventing parents from allowing their children to get tattoos. Instead, the 16-year-old artist that gave the ink is now facing charges related to giving the tattoo. The artist faces two misdemeanor charges accusing him of delinquency. Further,… Read more
