Off to the wilderness!

I am in Covington, Kentucky right now.  Tomorrow I will set off with and old friend, Cambridge, and her husband to the Red River Gorge.  We plan to  hike, swim, and climb shit all day and then sleep out under the stars.  It will be glorious.  Maybe, for irony’s sake, I’ll take a jog out to Creation Falls (if only to personally re-brand it ‘Evolution Creek’).  Tee hee!

I will push my body hard.  I also intend to get up early on Sunday and do a two mile run through whatever wilderness hell we landed in that night.  It will be epic.

This means that Friday Fitness won’t go up until next Monday.  Sorry about that.  I’ve been extremely busy as of late, but I need to rededicate myself to blogging.  So not only will I be better about Friday Fitness, I am going to endeavor to write about something every day.  So send me ideas, questions, or just things you think will piss me the hell off.

Will see you on Monday!  Wish me luck.

Have a lot of fun! My wife and I did our honeymoon at the Gorge. It’s beautiful. Be careful though. The trails can be hazardous, I was never allowed to go as a kid because my dads brother in laws sister stepped off the trail to pee and fell off a cliff, scaring the crap put of my dad at the time. Just keep your head on straight!

Love the Gorge. Spent many a glorious weekend there, especially in the Clifty Wilderness section. Have fun!
