I was on some panels at FtBConscience this weekend. The first was Atheist Music hosted by Brianne Bilyeu. It was good to see the faces of some very dear friends, Ashley Miller and Shelley Segal. They’re really good people. I’m also a huge fan of Roy Zimmerman and didn’t know he was going to be on the panel. Admittedly, I fanboyed a little bit. It turns out that being a big, bad speaker and popular blogger doesn’t stop one from tripping over themselves in the presence of people they admire for the first time.
We all sang a song, being musicians and what not. If you want to hear me singing flat due to tiredness, here’s the money shot. :P
Then there was Atheists in Pop Culture. It was fun, even though I think I said one thing the entire two hours. There was just so much else going on.
And my last was running a regional conference. My friends Ben Blanchard and Lauren Lane were kind enough to share the space with me. Both of them had tremendous insights for running an event through your group, not just a conference.
