Stephanie Banister should come to the United States, the Tea Party would love her.

Stephanie Banister s a political candidate in Australia whose goal in life seems to be making Sarah Palin look like a virtuoso of world knowledge by comparison.  It’s a challenge, but Banister seems up for it.  Did you know that Islam is a country and that Judaism is a religion centered on Jesus Christ?

I can’t make this shit up.  I’ll bet she could get elected in Alabama.

While I hope Banister stays in Australia, what do we have to do to get some journalists like the ones in this video here in the states.

    My head asplode.

Dude, don’t joke about that shit! It’s bad enough that Ken Ham decided to set up shop here. I don’t like being reminded that one of the biggest growth industries in our country is the exploitation of self-serving idiots at the paired expense of everyone else.

Oh she’s standing for One Nation, that explains a lot. The fastest explanation is that the party name is missing the word “white” from the middle, possibly also the word “stupid” as well.

As an Alabama native, I wish I could argue against your statement that she could get elected here…but some things are just true.

Ms. Banister is remarkably ignorant. At least the 7news team knew that several of her points were plainly wrong. I’m not sure Ms. Palin would have gotten corrected in the US for the same mistakes.

      The Daily Show would have.

In medieval times, the only ones who would dare speak truth to power were the court fools. The powerful could overlook any inconvenient spoken truth because, after all, it’s the just words of a fool.

Maybe. Stewart was downright loving to Barton.

“Everything in life is just about learning!”

Er, so why haven’t you done any?

    What a smug little turd.

    • Zinc Avenger

She’s using the definition of “learning” that means “everything I see and hear and experience reinforces my originally held preconceptions”.

  • wombat

She’s the poster-girl for young voters. Oh dear. Do they really think that poorly of young people?
