Good to see the family again.

Thanks for enduring another day of silence yesterday.  I promise that I spent it enjoying the wilderness and enjoying the all-too-rare time with my parents.

I have found that my best thoughts are seldom revealed by sitting down and forcing myself to think.  No, I’ve had my best ideas by placing myself in an atmosphere of quiet, like the woods or my childhood home, and giving my mind the freedom to operate in the background.  I love being here.  These are the happiest times in my life.

We drive back to Lawrence today and I fly out for Colorado Springs Monday to give a talk Tuesday night (more details on that coming).  But I’ll get some good writing in tomorrow.  *hugs to all*
