Because the Mandated HHS Rules Strike at the Heart of Freedom

Certainly by now you’ve heard that the present Administration, through the Health and Human Services Department, is mandating that all employer healthcare insurance plans provide coverage for procedures which violate the beliefs of the Catholic Church, and Catholic institutions. Basically, the new rules require the Church, and the institutions operating faithfully under the aegis of the Church, to provide “preventative services for women” to their employees. There is No Ghetto Between the Shire and the City

Ghetto Catholicism, that is. You see, we Catholics aren’t like the Amish, or other religious sects that hole up and pretend the rest of the world doesn’t exist.

We don’t just hunker down in our own enclaves and let the rest of the world go to hell in a hand basket. That isn’t what we’ve been called to do.
