Thanks to Our Mothers: Past, Present, and Future

Breakfast in Bed (1897) by Mary Cassatt – oil on canvas, Huntington Library

This Sunday in the United States we celebrate our mothers. Though it is a secular holiday, it’s one of the best ones on the calendar. I want to wish a Happy Mothers Day to all of the mothers out there.

We have good company in this department, because lest we forget, Jesus was a man of work. Unless you are on call, or on duty (military, police, fire, ambulance, doctors and nurses) I hope you can take advantage of this day off and enjoy yourself. Here’s some songs I hope you’ll enjoy too.
