To apply, you must submit a video via this website and complete the application listed here.  Your video must fall into one of these three categories:

"Why I Am A _______ "  (Christian, Jew, Muslim, Atheist, etc.)

"How I Live My Faith On Campus"

"Rituals & Practices Of My Faith"

What should your video look like?
Whatever you want! Have fun with it but remember - it must be longer than 30 seconds but no longer than 5 minutes. Get creative!

Step 1 - Click here to read the instructions for the contest

Step 2 - Pick a category

Step 3 - Enlist your friends, classmates, pastor/rabbi/imam/etc (but remember to get their written permission!)

Step 4 - Film it!

Step 5 - Upload it to this website

Step 6 - Facebook, Tweet, Myspace, and otherwise exploit your social network for votes

Step 7 - Win $2,500!

ABOUT THE CONTEST

Patheos invites you to submit a video entry about your faith. Videos must fall into one of these three categories:
"Why I Am A _______ " (Christian, Jew, Muslim, Atheist, etc.)
"How I Live My Faith On Campus"
"Rituals & Practices Of My Faith."

PRIZE

The Grand Prize winner will receive a $2,500 prize while the finalist in each of the categories receives a $1,000 prize. There is also an audience favorite that is awarded to the video entry that gets the most votes from the public.

JUDGES

A panel of guest judges from the media and different faiths will select the Grand Prize Winner. Any person can vote for on their favorite entries to determine finalists. The 20 entries to receive the highest number of votes enter the final round.
