			<description><p>Years ago I read an article that said about 19/20 people never leave the religion in which they were raised.  The stat was notable because a) it was worldwide, not specific to America, and b) did NOT count people swapping protestant denominations.  Pretty sure it split catholicism and protestantism into two religions, but otherwise, if you were raised Presbyterian but are currently Baptist, it would oount you in the 95% of people who hadn't switched, because it was only counting major changes in core beliefs.</p>
<p>I'm trying to google for that article now but can't find it.  Does anyone have a source for this kind of info?  Or any stat on how many people change between major religions (like Christianity to Islam)?  I can find plenty of articles on the number of people who switch denominations in America, but that's not what I care about.
