Why off course, religious freedom is trotted out as to why equality laws shouldn't mean that your religious beliefs take precedent over equality. Well except in the case where the same argument is used by another religion against yours ... that's persecution.

Apparently subject of a racist whispering campaign against him getting the top job. This from the man who's against gay marriage and women bishops. Well if I remember correctly Jesus didn't choose to surround himself with people from Uganda or women so surely it's also right that bishops from Uganda shouldn't be ordained - oh no that's somehow different isn't it?
