   Hi. What is going on, is it happening for you too? Can you even see this post? I seemed to have an issue earlier this afternoon (EST) where I posted on the end of a thread, but it did not bump up to the top, it remained several hours old with another person as the last author. However, I could see my posts.

   I sent out signal in another thread, and same thing happened, then it cleared up and nobody responded to what I'd said, and then it happened again. I haven't written a lot of messages today, but it would sure help me to know whether you can see them or not. I have emailed Daniel and haven't heard back yet. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

    Huh. Somehow you ended up in the spam filter, Kodie. I don't see any of the normal words that would trigger it.

    There were five posts in the spam filter. I pulled two out - one in "God and Privacy" and another in "Story of my Religious Awakening". The other three were you testing to see if a post would go through.

    I'm sorry about this. I'll keep an eye on it in the future.

    Ive been getting a weird issue, when I hit 'post' my spam blocker triggers and says this is a dangerous web page. Im using Avast corporate.

    I am also using avast, but I am not getting that issue. I realize I let a curse drop now and again, but that hasn't normally stopped anything from posting. I have a different posting issue but I suspect it is a Kodie-specific word limit that disconnects me from the server until I edit down my posts. I've been getting along, and I hope I'd see a warning if I started being a jerk, but I was banned once when Daniel accidentally banned everyone.

    Other Texas terms of importance:

    fixin' to: means about to do something (I'm fixin' to go to the store. You need somethin'?)

    coke: refers to all fizzy drinks... (less so in big cities, but in a small town you may hear someone order a coke and when the cashier asks what kind, the customer may say, Dr. Pepper).

    tump over: means knock over (Quit horsin' around, you'll tump over my coke!!!)

    show: movie

    icebox: fridge

    I'll add more if I think of 'em!

    Thanks for the English/Texan, Texan/English guide, LRA. I'd heard 'tump' before, someone wrote out once somewhere an anecdote I read, and must have used the words 'tump' and 'tumpable' and 'non-tumpable' 23 times.... come to think of it, he is Texan. It's weird when you don't know a word, you can start to guess the context if someone doesn't use any other verbs in the story of his quest for the perfect dog dish.

    Yeah, it doesn't seem to be a listed word kicking it out as spam. All I can think of is that you have an IP address that used to belong to someone else that got flagged.

    Or server squirrels.

    I don't know how IP addresses work. I know you can trace my location, but about them changing erratically? I've been posting from my home, never moved, on the same computer, on the same ISP since I began here, and both of those threads I'm having issues in are rather recent and only 1 page long so far. I started one of them! I've been able to post in other threads... and since they are bumping and displaying me as last author, I assume people can see my posts in them, but I can't be certain if nobody responds to them (EDIT: I forgot the rather recent acclaim for beating you to help someone with tags - so that makes me feel a little better, plus I beat you).

    Had that problem a while back and the nearest I was able to figure out was that I had put too many links in the post (4 seems to be the maximum).

    There is a different issue that has been appearing where if you make what becomes the first post on the next page, it will bump, and your name will be visible as the last author, but can't read your post until someone else adds another post to the page. That doesn't happen in every thread that I've noticed, I think it might be when a thread gets too long.
