As far as the patriarchal society thing goes, you're Texans. You straight up invented that shit.

Oh, honey, no! Texas women were frontier women. Tough as nails. You've heard the expression, "Don't mess with Texas"? Yeah, that should read, "Don't mess with Texas women."
The patriarchal came as a result of the spread of fundy-ism to Texas right after WWII that seemed to reach a fevered pitch during the Reagan administration. Even so, that's only a portion of the population. And the there's the rest of us. >:)
Fantastic case in point: Helen Philpot.

@JonJon:
"(I love arguing vehemently about completely unimportant things...) XD
So do I. It's good practice for the real thing. En garde!
"1 is not prime, but it is odd:" That's true, but utterly unremarkable.
You merely fail to grasp its significance.
Because "It is the only odd number that is not prime" is completely and totally false. Ursa, allow me to introduce the number 9. 9, Ursa.
Um, er, <koff, koff>. Well, yes, there are some things in our theology that might look as if they are wrong on the surface, but if you open your heart to the truth and believe, all your doubts will disappear.
Things like these are specifically meant to test your faith. If the First Mathematician had presented you with an irrefutable proof from the get-go, it wouldn't be faith, now would it?
"It is the only number in the universe that is neither prime nor composite."
Ursa, 0. 0, Ursa.
A commonly raised objection. This assertion tests your capacity for reasoning. Zero is nothing, and therefore not a number in our theology.
