   so this giant lump just appeared on the back of my head, just right of the base of my spine. didn't hit it on anything, certainly wasn't there when i washed my hair like three or more hours ago. i did rest my head on the edge of a couch while watching "the fantastic mr. fox" with some friends, but that's the only thing i can go on right now. should i hit up a doc?? it hasn't been hurting, but it does a little with pressure. i dunno, its really weird and random.

   Yeah, a doctor would probably be a good idea. Maybe nothing, but the location says you can't be too sure.

   As a general rule of thumb, anything to do with your spine - get it checked. It's probably just a boil or a cyst, but do go and make sure.

   I'd love to be able to reassure you that it's because your education has reached the point where your brain has started to grow a new lobe, but alas, smart money is on it being a cyst. Boils don't usually appear that rapidly. As Elemenope and Custador said, the location makes it a very good idea to have it checked out. Don't wait.

   LOL @FO Dude, Custador's on here, I posted late at night when I was about to go to bed and noticed it, I just figured I could get a better informed opinion than from fellow students when I woke up in the morning.

   Mainly I just wanted to know how urgent it was and if I could wait until Monday. Anyway, gotta go, this death-knot ain't checking itself out.

    Hahaha, well, I forgot Noelle was a doctor. But it's all good, they said it was a hair follicle infection and put me on antibiotics. They did mention I might be more likely to double post until it disappears, but I doubt it.

    Even with no toast, 100 grams of dried beans packs 60 grams of carbohydrates. Subtract the 25 grams that are fiber, and you still have 35 grams of digestible carbs.
