I was on the Internet, engaging in a bit of 8-bit nostalgia, when I found out about a company called Wisdom Tree that made Christian games for the NES and Super NES. And boy, do they suck.
One of the games, Super 3D Noah's Ark (the only unlicensed game ever commercially released for the Super NES), is a blatant rip off of Wolfenstein 3D with Noah trying to quell trouble on the Ark by shooting various animals with a catapult. Another release was the NES game Bible Adventures, a Mario Bros. 2 rip off featuring the stories of Noah, Moses and David & Goliath. My personal favourite, King of Kings, allows the player to control one of the three Kings as he searches for Frankincense to give to the baby Jesus.
