Every once in a while, the little guy gets to feel that smug sense of satisfaction as a bully gets what's coming to him.

It's the (just) reaction of frustrated, powerless people that for once are not so powerless.
Unfortunately this kind of backlash seem to work only on relatively small targets.
Politicians, bankers and big corps can behave just like that and leave unscathed.
