I've been accused today of having a warped mind, for an Occam's Razor style explanation I suggested to a mystery. In order to test this, I'm going to present the facts to you guys, and see how long it takes for somebody else to draw the same conclusions as me, and how many of you agree. To keep it fair, I will not say what my own conclusions are. Here goes:
21 year old woman lives with a 57 year old man in a two bedroom flat; she is his lodger.
Every morning, the man brings the woman a cup of tea, sits on the edge of her bed and chats to her about how she's doing (by the way, she sleeps naked).
Because he works short hours, the man does the woman's laundry while she is at work.
In the last few months, dozens of pairs of her panties (mostly thongs), several suspender belts, some pairs of stockings, a nightie and a corset have all gone missing in the laundry. She estimates her monthly spend on new underwear to be £75 ($140), and yet she never seems to own more than 5 pairs of undies.
The washing machine is in the flat they share, so the only people who handle the laundry are the 21 year old woman, and the 57 year old man.
None of her jeans, tee shirts or other clothing have ever gone missing in the laundry, only the clothing items previously detailed.
The 21 year old woman is mystified why she's having to spend to much on underwear, and where it could all be going.
So, UFers: What do we think is going on in this situation?
