Anyone else having problems accessing the site using Firefox (3.6.12) as I keep getting "frezzes" (inability to select other tabs, scoll the page etc.) for about five to ten seconds when either selecting whole blog posts or individual posts to read. No problems with the forum.

No problems here. I'm on v.3.6.10.

What if you downgrade to your previous version of firefox?

After Firefox kept annoying me, I switched to Google Chrome. I have yet to run across a page that didn't render properly in Chrome.

Oh, I've run across pages that don't work in chrome. It's still better than firefox, though.

I personally like Safari.

Browser preferences are uncomfortably close to religious beliefs. I just use what works for me and don't proselytize.

I don't know that they're bordering on religious beliefs. I still (???) use firefox. I wouldn't say the other browsers aren't better, but I tried chrome and I hated it. I may have gotten too comfortable with firefox, but I like to hear (to a point) what people say are good or worthless, otherwise, I'd probably still be using IE (which is what is on my mother's computer). To me, using another browser is like trying to cook in someone else's kitchen, only they put the glasses where the pots and pans should be, and the pots and pans in the refrigerator - I can't find anything, and I don't have the patience.

Hey, we should get into an Apple vs Windows debate now!

I have firefox and I keep getting a message that Java scripts have stopped working... is that a firefox thing or a java thing or a windows thing?

Java often gets screwed up on me during updates. Digging out all the orphaned bits from the registry after an uninstall so that it doesn't think Java has already updated correctly when it hasn't is nightmarish, and you can't reinstall until you do. Enterprising coders actually write special utilities to do it because doing it manually is nearly impossible.
