Poll Finds That “Idiot” Is The Most Common Word Americans Associate With Trump

Poll Finds That “Idiot” Is The Most Common Word Americans Associate With Trump May 11, 2017

A Quinnipiac University poll asked a random sample of Americans what was the first word that popped in their heads when they thought of our president. The most common word was “idiot” followed by “incompetent” and “liar.” Many of the other popular words were very negative with a few neutral and even positive ones mixed in.

With Trump’s historically low approval ratings, this isn’t much of a surprise. What is interesting is the poll also found that only 48% of white men said Trump was doing a good job. This usually pro-Trump demographic is now below 50% for the first time during his presidency.

It’s embarrassing to have someone as terrible as Trump be my president, but I hope the rest of the world understands that many Americans do not support him.
