BOTTOM LINE <\/em><\/strong>(sound familiar?).\u00a0 And he said that she was crazy for even considering firing this man, since he brought in so much money to the company.<\/p>\nBut she disagreed.\u00a0 Because of this man\u2019s obnoxious behavior, they had already lost an excellent Loan Processor because she refused to process this man\u2019s loans.\u00a0 The other Mortgage Loan Originators were also grumbling about his behavior.<\/p>\n
He Constantly Gloated Over His Success<\/h2>\n
Apparently, every time he brought in a loan application to be processed, he gloated to the others about how fantastic he was.<\/p>\n
If you had an employee who was causing such a disruption in your business, yet your business partner (in this case, it was her husband) refuses to do anything about it, what would you do?<\/p>\n
This Woman Felt Powerless<\/h2>\n
I could imagine the dilemma this woman was in.\u00a0 She wanted to maintain a harmonious working relationship with her husband, who didn\u2019t want to even address the issue.\u00a0 But she also wanted to maintain a happy and cooperative environment for her employees, who were on the verge of rebelling.<\/p>\n
She admitted that their best Loan Processor had quit rather than work for this obnoxious man.\u00a0 How many more employees would she lose?<\/p>\n
God Suggested that She Send Love\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nWhen a situation like this arises, I am so grateful that I have made God my business partner.\u00a0 And I know that I can always turn to God for guidance.<\/p>\n
Sure enough, God suggested that this woman begin sending love to this obnoxious man.<\/p>\n
I Let Her Know I Understood Her Dilemma<\/h2>\n
So, I first let her know how much I understood her dilemma.\u00a0 And I knew how important it was to maintain her working relationship with her husband.\u00a0 But I also understood that she wanted to keep harmony and cooperation with her staff.<\/p>\n
I Suggested that She Begin Sending Love<\/h2>\n
So, I suggested that she begin sending this obnoxious man LOVE LOVE LOVE!\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>This was something she could do silently, without confronting this man.\u00a0 Also, she was to THANK GOD<\/em><\/strong> for the perfect outcome for all involved where this man was concerned.<\/p>\nThat meant that he would either allow this love to change his heart, or he would leave.\u00a0 She agreed to give it a try, since she was desperate.<\/p>\n
This Man Left this Company!<\/h2>\n
Two weeks later, she called to tell me that this man had left the company and her husband had freaked out!\u00a0 \u201cOur business is ruined!\u201d he exclaimed.<\/p>\n
She, of course, was thrilled, and silently thanked God that he had left.\u00a0 Someone even better would come to work for them, she just knew it!<\/p>\n
She THANKED GOD for the Perfect Replacement<\/h2>\n
Her husband freaked out over this loss, but she was able to calm him down.\u00a0 A better MLO would appear, she assured him.\u00a0 \u00a0\u201cTHANK YOU GOD for that perfect person,\u201d she silently prayed.<\/p>\n
Sure enough, she was calling to tell me that within the week of this man leaving, a husband-and-wife team of Mortgage Loan Originators walked into the office.\u00a0 And they wanted to know if there were any openings, as they had just moved to the city and this mortgage company was located close to the area they moved to.<\/p>\n
So, one bad apple left, when he couldn\u2019t take the bombardment of LOVE LOVE LOVE<\/em><\/strong>, and God replaced him with TWO TOP PRODUCERS<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 who, by the way, the entire staff loves!<\/p>\nI\u2019m telling you, applying spiritual principles to running your business will guarantee success!<\/p>\n
