Joel Osteen on Homosexuality

Joel Osteen on Homosexuality February 9, 2011

I thought I would share this quote today as it is a very interesting contribution to a very difficult modern debate. We live in a world that is quite rightly eager that we should see equality for all. In this quote Joel Osteen tries to balance his view that the Bible calls homosexuality a sin with being accepting of all people. I think the really interesting question for society is, does a comment like this constitute “hate speech” which should be condemned, or can we build a society where those who hold a similar view to Joel can peacefully co-exist with those who hold a very different view?
